The heavens opened and the rain poured, causing flooding at the campground. El Nino had arrived.

Two days later and we still had some problems. It's a good job that the campground wasn't fully booked.
At least you can see the road now
There was mud and debris left behind
There were mini lakes in many of the campsites, fortunately a lot of the flooded campsites were empty.
There was a raging stream of water flowing through the ravine behind the dog run. There is normally no water here and it had subsided from a couple of days ago. This is actually outside the park and we think the coyotes probably have a den here as they were seen in the campground during the day for a few days as their den was probably under water and they were desperate for food. Bryan & some of the volunteers became the "Coyote Wranglers" steering them back out of the campground on more than one occasion. They are known to come through during the night but we haven't seen them during the day before.
This was the stream that flows through the campground. It cleared up very quickly.

The area by the side of the motorhome dried up pretty quickly as well.

Ryan, Christina and Trystan came to visit and after all the rain we went for a walk. Well, Ryan rode his bike.

As the sun was starting to go down today the sky was beautiful. This picture really doesn't reflect it fully but it was beautiful.

Aimee made straight "A's" again at school. She is also part of the chess team and has been made Postmaster of the post office for her school which has recently become a micro-society school. All is good in Aimee's world and we are very proud of her.
Here she is "dressed for success" and ready to interview fellow students as employees of the post office.

Two of the lakes at the park were stocked with trout today. They do this quite frequently but this is the first time Bryan managed to get pictures.
The truck arrived with the trout
The trout are fed into the lake through a tube
There are three in this picture
There is a playground for people with disabilities, we are very happy about this.
This egret keeps appearing outside the park by the road.
