Oregon - Goodbye Harbor Vista, Hello Seal Rock Cove

June 15th, 2016

Today is moving day, but before we left we took some pictures at our amazing site.  Unfortunately I didn't realize I was wearing pink and Bryan red, so we clash a little but oh well!!!

One last view of the waves against the jetty.

Goodbye Harbor Vista RV Park, I'm sure we'll be back one day!!!

On to Seal Rocks RV Cove Park.  We had trouble getting level in our site and our jacks got stuck.  We ended up calling an RV technician out to take a look at them, but he couldn't get here until tomorrow so we slept on a slope, or should I say we didn't sleep.  We started by sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed as I didn't want my feet above my head but halfway through the night it wasn't working as Bryan was too tall and I was getting a headache, so we turned around our normal way.  I ended up getting up and sleeping on the couch as it was making me feel ill!!!

Anyway, before we went to bed Bryan took some pictures of the sunset from our site.  We really have an awesome view and the beach is literally a short walk across the road.

The RV technician came out but after three hours and a charge of $100 he couldn't fix it but he did manage to get the jacks to come up, so at least we could move.

We decided to move to our right by about two foot to see if it was more level.  After moving over and back and forward a little we eventually got Lily level.  Thank goodness for that!!!

I took this picture out of our back window.

We went for a walk across the street to the beach.  It was awesome.

Lots of Birds
I tend to walk ahead of Bryan sometimes when he gets involved with his photography.  I just love listening to the ocean and watching the wildlife and the waves.

I made this VIDEO, just listen to the waves but try to ignore the wind!!!

These gulls looked as though they were kissing, they probably were!!

See the person on top of the rock.

Tidal Pools

Bryan spotted the seals before I did.

Here's a VIDEO.  See if you can spot the seals on the rock, they didn't move a lot!!!

Not sure what these were but they were scurrying along the sand by the waters edge.

The sign for the park

Lily waiting for us to come home.

There was another gorgeous sunset.

The moon

I really like it here, although there is a big hole behind us with a danger sign.  A little worried it might  expand and we might get sucked into it!!!

Bryan was put off by the site being so unlevel.

Hopefully we will survive the week.
