Christmas Eve arrived and happened to be on our days off, so we went and spent the night at Ryan & Christina's. This has become a bit of a tradition but may be the last time for a while, as they are moving to Norfolk, Virginia next year.

| Getting ready for the big day |
December 25th, 2019
Christmas Day, we were up bright and early which is the norm when you have a child in the house. Children make Christmas extra special. It's such a joy to see the excitement and joy in their eyes, and expressions.

I have a shadow box that Bryan brought back from Turkey on one of his trips to the desert. It is all glass and quite delicate. Anyway, while we have been traveling part of the glass got broken, and the handle broke off. Unbeknown to me Ryan had been working on fixing it, even engraving two hearts that were on the glass that got broken and therefore replicating it exactly. He even had a metal piece that was used for the door handle. It was a wonderful surprise and yes, I cried!! Now I have to make sure it is packaged safely for when we travel.

We all were very happy with our presents and had a lovely day. Once again Ryan & Christina made dinner and it was delicious. Of course we had our Christmas Crackers and paper hats.
Till the next time!!! Take Care.
