Today I knew exactly what I was doing. It was King Charles Coronation. It was shown on the television and there were various celebrations around the ship. I chose to stay in our cabin and watch the whole thing from start to finish lying on our bed and watching the television. I didn't miss one bit!! Much the same as I would have done at home.
The route he took from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey was a lot shorter than the one his mother took in 1953.
I took pictures of the tv screen, which didn't come out too bad. At least, I was happy with them.

We went to the cake cutting and distribution event to watch the celebrations. There was lots of singing, eating and drinking. We observed from above as didn't want to be in the crowd!!
