I got up early today to watch Andy Murray play in China. He won and I was happy. He is beginning to look more like his old self, although he still has some work to do physically. It will be interesting to see if he can eventually get back to being able to compete against the best and win, after his hip resurfacing operation. One things for sure if anyone can do it, Andy can.
When I opened the curtains, the mist was so thick I couldn't see the mountains. It cleared within a couple of hours and was a nice day. There is often a mist first thing in the morning here, that then clears.
We are getting more of the flat bugs and they are a nuisance. I discovered quite a few hiding in the bedroom, and we believe they are coming in through the slides or air conditioner vents. Bryan went to the local Ace Hardware and bought some different mouse traps and some bug spray. We had a purge on getting rid of the bugs. We wiped down the slide seals with dryer sheets and left the dryer sheets on top of the slide shelf inside. I think the combination of the dryer sheets and bug spray forced them out, and we seemed to be continuously killing them, but eventually there seemed to be less of them.
We put the new traps out and after a couple of hours we heard one get activated, sure enough we had caught a mouse. We will see if we catch anymore.
Let's hope we are close to resolving this dilemma.

The manager of the campground at Jacksonville called us to make sure we were still on target for getting there at the end of October, and still ok with being camphosts. We certainly are. I'm glad he called to confirm, it means he hasn't forgotten us. Of course, who could possibly forget us!! He doesn't know who we'll be working with, as the guy that was going to do it has left.
We got caught up on laundry and cleaning, as we will be moving campgrounds tomorrow, and the next few places we are staying we won't have a sewer hookup. This means conserving our water usage, as we can't empty the tanks once they're full. We get around this by moving campgrounds at least every 4 days, and emptying our tanks in the sewer dump as we leave the campground. Some people can go a lot longer without having to empty their tanks but we find 4 days seems to be it for us. We won't be able to use our washing machine while not connected to the sewer though. We bought extra socks and underwear, so we have enough to last for two weeks and we will then use a campground laundry to do our wash every two weeks. If the plan works we will only have to use a campground laundry once, before we will be back on full hookups. The plus side to this is that the campgrounds we will use are on lakes or reservoirs, and thanks to my "senior" pass we only pay half price, between $12 and $14 a night. 👍

Today is our 28th wedding anniversary and we are also moving. Why did I schedule us to move on our anniversary??!! It's because we had our site for a month, and the month was up today. We will celebrate tomorrow instead.
Andy Murray was playing at 7.30am again. I set my alarm to get up and try and watch him before we had to leave. What do you know, the match before had only just started, so his match would be on later. I don't think I'll be able to watch it all now, booooo!!!!!
I managed to have breakfast, get ready and get some stuff packed away, before his game started. I watched most of the match although the television channel was having problems with the transmission, and kept losing the picture. Eventually, they decided to show a ladies match instead, and I had to find a stream on my laptop to continue watching. After the end of the second set, we had to leave but I managed to get live scores to follow along on the road. I probably could have got a livestream, but I knew we would keep losing our internet connection, which would cause more frustration. Unfortunately he lost, but from what I saw he played better than he has done, and that's all we can ask. I think the hip is working really well, and have hopes that eventually he will be able to challenge the top guys again. Even if he doesn't, at least he's playing again and seems to be enjoying it.
It was a pretty drive, although a little harrowing for Bryan driving I'm sure. It was the usual, for this area, of curves, ups and downs. Wheeeeeee!!!!!
We started in North Carolina and went through Georgia(missed the sign), before entering South Carolina. We have been to all three before, so we didn't get any new stickers for our map. In fact, we won't get any new stickers for our map this year as we have been through all the States in prior years, just different areas. Don't worry we plan on adding some new States next year hopefully.
It was a lot of driving on 2 lane highways, which took lot of concentration given the bends, ups and downs. Lily, Tilly and the tow bar combined are a total of approx. 58 feet!!
We arrived safely at Oconee Point Campground, near Clemson, South Carolina, and got setup in our site. It is a pull through, but we did disconnect Tilly as we will be going out on a couple of trips while we are here.We have views of the lake from all sides. We will be here for 4 nights.
Bryan went out to relax and chill after a tiring day driving.
Well, that's it for today. We did see a lot of the flat bugs as we moved. We now believe they are coming in through the slides. Tomorrow we will let off bug bombs before we go out for the day, and hopefully come back to dead bugs!!!! Haven't seen any more mice, but still not totally convinced they're not here. Main priority at the moment are the bugs!!!! Stay tuned for more adventures of Bryan,Sue, Bugs & Mice or should it be Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves!! Sorry reading that last sentence back, I had to add the Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves as I found myself singing it, hmmm!!!
