Downtown Disney

March 27th, 2014

The weather still wasn't great but we decided to go to Downtown Disney, which is a shopping and entertainment place that is next to Disneyworld and related to everything Disney.  The parking there is free and it costs nothing apart from what you might spend in the restaurants or shops.
We had lunch at Earl of Sandwich which was very reasonably priced and the sandwiches were good.

These two were for Christina as she likes Toy Story.
Made completely of Lego

Mickey & Minnie promoting Epcots Flower Festival

Boat taking people back to DisneyWorld

Bus Shelter, sponsored by SeaWorld

Last but definitely not least, Cinderella's Castle made of crystal & gems and costing $36,000!!
My friend Vickie, who is a Disney fanatic, tells me that they had sold two of these castles when she asked and that they shipped them for free!!!

They are doing some construction work here at the moment and it was not as large as I thought it would be.  So near to Disney and yet so far!!!!
