Daytona - Day 4 - Practices, Qualifying & Truck Race

Today, we stayed at the motorhome.  We realized we definitely didn't get any water from the truck yesterday as we ran out totally.  Bryan suddenly sat up in bed last night and said he knew what had happened.  The guy must have hooked the hose up to the wrong connection.  We knew we had to find the guy and get him to actually fill up our water tank.  Eventually, Bryan stopped another truck and he contacted the guy from yesterday who confirmed what Bryan was saying.  They filled up the water for us without any extra charge.  Rightly so, as it was their error.

There were practices for the Sprint Cup & Qualifying for Nationwide and Truck series.  Part of the Qualifying for Nationwide and all of the qualifying for the trucks were rained out. The new knockout qualifying was somewhat abbreviated by the rain.  The new qualifying is described HERE.

The Truck race went ahead though and we watched from the top of the motorhome.

This is an overhead shot that was on the television.  Our motorhome is the far left one of the four on there own next to the road.  There was grass next to us and then a car parked on it's own. We had lights shining on us all night.   We were close to the track.

Here is the original from the tv. This angle shows turn 1, we were halfway between turn 1 and turn 2. If you look at the black horseshoe shape on the left of the picture, we are in the four at the top right of the green horseshoe. The picture above is a zoom in on that area.
