We woke up to sunshine and lots of geese!!! I think the family that were camped down by the lake were feeding them, which we're not supposed to do. It was fun watching them though.
We stayed in, relaxed and watched sports. I took these pictures of the views from our windows.
The driveway in front of us doesn't look that steep, but was steep enough that we had to remove the towbar!!

We decided to take a trip into town, and visit Fendall Hall. It looked a very interesting building but unfortunately when we got there there was no-one home!!!! Despite saying it was open Monday-Saturday. We walked around the outside and took some pictures and left a little disappointed. We realized later that today was Columbus Day and although not recognized in a lot of States as a holiday maybe that's why it was closed, shucks!!
It had the floor to ceiling windows that you can open and walk in and out of. When Bryan was younger he lived in a house with his parents, that had these windows.
Eufaula was an interesting town that had a lot of informational signs about the history.
This section of buildings were empty and derelict.
We went to Walmart and got some shopping and then returned home.
On the way home we passed these cotton fields.

Today was another moving day. It was raining, not ideal conditions for moving day. We tried to extend another day here, but because we were booked in another COE campground it would have meant having to cancel that booking and then rebooking it. We didn't want to chance losing our site in the time it would take to do that, so we just went ahead and moved in the rain. At least it wasn't windy. We weren't going far, just across to the other side of the lake but it meant crossing the border again and back to Georgia.
We passed more cotton fields. The Saints bear was having a sleep!!!!
Here we are, arriving at Cotton Hill Park Campground, Fort Gaines, Georgia.
It was still raining!!!
We got checked in, and on the way to our site we saw deer ahead. Can you spot the deer in the picture below?
There she is.
That was a good start to our stay. We got to our site, and got setup in record time as Andy Murray was playing today in Belgium. We timed it just right and his match was about to start, yay!!! At least the time of the games are during the day, no early mornings or late nights!! I watched him play Copperjans and he won 6-4, 7-6. He's playing very well considering.
I took this picture out of our side window, the rain created a mist which meant we couldn't see the lake very well. Fortunately, I think sun is forecast for tomorrow. We'll have to wait and see. We're here for six nights, we have full hookups and only $13 a night, yay!!!
