We didn't do very much except for normal type stuff. Shopping, washing, eating, cleaning, think you get the picture. I also planned our trip up the East Coast and booked campgrounds through Mid July. It's surprising how long that takes!!! At the moment there are some details under future trips on the map but I will add dates when I get a moment. These can still change though, you never really know what is going to happen from one day to the next. We are trying to get used to having "Go with the flow" as our new motto.
Bryan did get a fishing license and has been fishing a couple of times. The first time I went and met him. I got a couple of pictures. Unfortunately he didn't catch anything.

"A new first for me. Got up early this morning and decided to go down to the lake and do some fishing. Started off a little slow, but caught a small bass. Thought maybe things were starting to look up. Next up was a snapping turtle, threw him back. I was starting to get sunburned, so I thought I would pack it up. I cast my line out one more time, when I reeled my line in there was some kind of snake on the end. Those of you who know me know Bryan don't play with snakes. I cut the line and let the snake have my plastic worm and hauled A"" out of there. Maybe I should rethink the whole fishing thing."
Thanks to the snake looks like I won't get any more peaceful mornings!! :) Maybe the turtle he got was the one I got a picture of a couple of days before. Ha!! Ha!!
Bryan has been doing small repairs to Lily. Here he is soldering a loose wire on the fan by his driver seat. It is now working again, yay!! There is always something to fix. I am lucky that he is so clever.
We moved the right driver & passenger seats around so that the backs were against the windows. It really opened up the front window and we get a better view out. It's taken us this long to figure that out.
April 6th was the anniversary of my dad's death. It has been 22 years, such a long time. I often feel as though he is right with me though, and whenever we hear a noisy bird we joke that it is Dad letting us know he is there. I still talk to him as well when I need to. I know he will look after me. Am I crazy, maybe but I don't care. I was pregnant with Ryan when Dad died, so he never got a chance to meet him but he did know about him. Hence Ryan's middle name of Peter. Here is a picture of him enjoying a golfing holiday in Spain a couple of weeks before he died. He is second on the left, holding the golf club.

April 8th was my Auntie Margaret (Dad's sister) and Uncle Bill's 50th Wedding Anniversary. Such an achievement these days. Their family had a lovely party for them. If I remember rightly, before she was married, Auntie Margaret sometimes walked me home from school as she went to the secondary school next to mine. Of course my recollections could be completely wrong, was a long while ago!!!! They were always a very fun Auntie & Uncle. Many congratulations to both of you, here's to many more.
Well, that's it for now. One sad anniversary and one very happy anniversary.
