Happy Mothers Day Mom, sorry we're not with you this year but here's a picture from last years visit.

Unfortunately Ryan is out on his ship and so unable to spend the first Mothers Day with Christina and Trystan.  However, Trystan got into the theme with the perfect outfit.

Brenda, John & the girls had fun at Six Flags in Texas.

I got lovely messages from both my boys, it's always great to hear from them.  Ryan even managed a quick phone call from wherever he was docked at.

Here's some pictures around Desert Eagle RV Park here on Nellis AFB.

Bikes packed up on the back of Tilly ready to leave
We managed to put a States visited map up on the outside of the slide on Lily.  This shows the States we have been to since we have been on the road. If you look closely at the picture of Lily above you can see it on the slide out.  We hope to get all the States filled in with the exception of Alaska & Hawaii.  We have been to both of these States but not in the motorhome and although we could get to Alaska we both agree that we don't want to drive that far.  There is still so many other States that we have yet to see.

May 12th, 2016

We were both up early and got packed up and on the road by 9.30am.  We have been sitting still for too long.

We drove along I-15 past the strip casinos.  Au Revoir Las Vegas, see you next time.

Andy Murray was playing in Rome and I was following the scores but when it got midway through the second set I decided to watch on the laptop.  We have to be conservative with what we stream as we have limited bandwidth.  Streaming a 3 hour tennis match takes about 3gb and we only have 30gb a month which averages 1gb a day between us!!!!  We use campground internet when we can but it is usually not that reliable.  We were fortunate here in Las Vegas and were able to use the internet at the campground, which meant some of our allowance from last month rolled over giving us a bit of padding for the coming month.

Andy Murray won, yeah!!!
Crossing the State line into California
There was a new rest stop just before we reached Baker, which is where we usually stop for a rest, so we stopped here to stretch our legs.

We are safely in Barstow overnight at Desert Rat RV park which is on the Marine base here.

Tomorrow we will go to Success Lake COE Campground which is in Porterville, Ca.
