I managed to watch Andy Murray beat Novak Djokovic in the final of the Rome Masters before we left today. Thankfully he managed to win in two straight sets!!!!
We arrived at
Flag City RV Resort in Lodi, California mid afternoon for an overnight stay. This was a convenient stop near to the I5 for us.
Here's a picture of Ryan on his ship somewhere out in the ocean.

It was LeeAnn's last choir performance for Middle school. Hard to believe she is going to High school in the fall.
Today, we were heading over the mountains on our way to
Aurora RV Park in Nice, California for another one night stay. We tried calling to reserve a spot but there was no answer, so we took a chance and just showed up. The manager was away but a lady there told us what spot to go in and said we could pay later.
It's a nice little park on the lake and we have partial lake views, very relaxing.

We went for a stroll to admire the scenery. Just as we got to the lakeside, two air boats took off over the lake. I didn't realize how noisy those things are.

We kept a look out for the manager's return but didn't see him. After dinner Bryan went looking for him and he was mowing grass, so he stopped and we paid for our one night.

Bryan got up very early especially to get some sunrise pictures, so here they are. I stayed safely tucked up in bed but I get to see the beauty thanks to him. Love you handsome hubby of mine. xxx

What an awesome place to relax briefly before setting off again. We're really covering some miles in an attempt to catch up with where we were supposed to be in our plans. We're getting there.
Off to
Richardson Grove RV Park near Garberville, Ca. for a two night stay, yippee!!!! As we are going further north the people seem to be getting nicer and nicer and more trusting!!! The couple at Aurora were very laid back to the extent that we probably could have stayed the night for free. Of course, this wasn't an option for us and Bryan couldn't relax until he had paid them, hence why he went looking for them. Here at Richardson, the card machine wasn't working and so they told us just to come back and pay later, which we did.
They gave us some very helpful tourist information and told us what things especially to see. We are close to the "Avenue of the Giants" and they pointed out some things to look for there. We won't go there until we get to our next campground which is actually on the "Avenue".
We went for a walk across the road to the gift store to look around and go and look at the
One Log House. We didn't get an outside picture but if you look at the link you will see it. Here's some inside pictures. A little house in a log and it's on wheels.

Tomorrow, we are going to visit a lighthouse and see the ocean. Can't wait!!!!
