We went for a drive to Sanibel Island. There was a lighthouse there we wanted to see. 😄

There was a toll bridge to get to the island.
They were doing some repairs
We saw this sign and made the mistake of driving into an apartment complex thinking it was the lighthouse, oops!!
We finally reached Sanibel Island Light

We couldn't stay long as there wasn't any parking close by and we didn't feel like walking in the heat.
There were some nice areas to walk onto the beaches.
On the way back to the mainland we stopped at the Chamber of Commerce and got our lighthouse stamp.
Heading back across the bridge, we parked on one of the beaches. Lily really felt as though she was on vacation as she got her toes(tires) close to the waves!!!

Quite an interesting day, although we were both a little lethargic. I think the heat is getting to us. Still another lighthouse marked off of our list.
