We had to go to the Navy Hospital in Beaufort today to get our prescription refills. This is always an adventure, ha!! ha!! We got our number and waited to be called. Wow, lo and behold we were called within 5 minutes. We have been known to wait an hour or more!! Unfortunately, we needed to be entered into the computer system here so we had to go to administration. The computer didn't like us for some reason and needed a supervisor approval but eventually we got it and headed back down to the pharmacy. They did the paperwork to transfer Bryan's meds from Tampa where we got them last and they should be here within 48 hours. I had new prescriptions that my doctor had given me so they filled them immediately and we only had to wait about another 10 minutes. I think it was the quickest we have been in and out of a base pharmacy since we have been on the road but hey, time doesn't matter we are retired...........
We went for a drive around Port Royal. It is not very big but we did see this unusual clock.
We drove onto the beach but didn't go too far as we didn't want Tilly to get stuck.
That was about it for today. Our friendly frog came back tonight and we got a slightly better picture of him.

We have been on the road 9 months today. Unfortunately when my computer crashed I lost my calculations for this year and I haven't recreated them yet but according to my travel map we have covered 3496 miles in Lily since we left Pahrump last August. Of course we have added a lot more miles in Tilly as we drive around at each location. We are really getting into the swing of this now and enjoying it.
We got a call to tell us that Bryan's prescriptions were ready so we went back to the pharmacy to pick them up. Wow, 5 minutes and we were in and out. We like this military pharmacy, very efficient.
We drove to Hunting Island State Park primarily to see the lighthouse there but we looked around as well.
Drawbridge across to Hunting Island. The lights green so we can go!!!
The green was not algae but a type of plant that provides food for the wildlife including the alligator that is in here somewhere.
We picked up some information and then headed to the lighthouse.
The roads were one way thankfully through the forest
Hunting Island Lighthouse
This lighthouse had informative signs on every landing as you went up. I liked the way they did this. The red sign shows your progress. Climb along with us.......
Finally 167 steps later, the top.
Looking through the telescope shows you where the lighthouse was before it was moved. This used to be dry land but due to erosion is now covered by the sea.
It's a long way down
Selfie at the top
Light at the top
Bryan coming down
Looking Down
Bryan on the first landing
Then the grounds and remains of the houses.
Water Pump & Cistern
After our climb we decided we deserved an icecream and so we sat and ate it by the beach in the shade.
Caught licking my sticky fingers!!!
Tree Limbs on the beach. The volunteers work on clearing the beach and park
We drove back through Beaufort.
Our frog was back again tonight but I didn't get a picture.
