National Museum of the U.S. Air Force
There were enclosed corridors linking the four buildings. Heading toward building 2 we passed the Eugene W Kettering Model Aircraft Collection. It caught my eye as I lived in Kettering, Northants in the UK for a number of years, and my eldest son was born there. They are also twinned with Kettering, Ohio which is named after Charles Kettering. Charles is Eugene's father. Small world!!!! Just another snippet of useless information for you all!!!!

In Building 2 was the Korean War Gallery, which we didn't go in, and the
Next was Building 3 which housed the
RF-4C Phantom II
F-4D Phantom II Sit-in Cockpit

| Away we go!!!! |
We saw this Vapor Special Operations Supercar on the way out of building 3.
Between Building 3 and Building 4 was a restaurant which was on an upper level overlooking the
Missile Gallery. We stopped and sat, and had something to eat and drink. You're not allowed to bring any water or food in to the museum. Bryan got chatting to a couple of gentlemen at the next table. There's a surprise isn't it, but it was good listening to them all discussing the museum, military service, what was wrong with the world etc. etc. etc. They asked about the scooter, and like Bryan they were reluctant to use one. I told them that, once in a while, it doesn't hurt if it helps you to see everything you want to, and be able to enjoy it. Bryan never uses one to go around food stores, Walmart etc., but the only way he has been able to see all of this museum and enjoy it in relative comfort has been with the help of this scooter. He didn't use one yesterday and is suffering for it today.
On to Building 4 which houses the Space, Research & Development, Global Reach & Presidential Galleries!!!!
