We didn't do much over the weekend, caught up with laundry and housework and watched sports, including the final of the US Tennis Open. Really wanted Del Potro to beat Djokovic, but it wasn't to be. The 9th was the 4th anniversary of Mum's death and I thought about her and had a chat. Not really anything different in that, it's something I do frequently.

Bryan returned to the Air Force Museum and got some more pictures.
He also went round the memorial park outside.
Here's just a couple of the memorials.
This one was of interest as it is a memorial for the airmen killed in the Khobar Towers attack. Bryan had stayed at this location during a deployment to Saudi Arabia previously, and so it hit home even more.
Back at the house, I took a picture of this tiny home that was parked a few spots away from us.
Shortly after Bryan got home, the water got turned off and we were told it wouldn't be back until tomorrow late afternoon. We're due to leave tomorrow morning, so looks as though we will have to forgo showers until we reach our next location. Yuck!!
There was no notice, a water leak had occurred in a nearby hanger, and it was frustrating that they couldn't treat it as an emergency. No one had water, even the showers and toilets in the campground had no water. Bryan went to get a couple of gallons of water from the store, and Burger King for us, as we didn't want to have dishes and no way to wash up. Lesson learned again, to always have some water in our tank.
A few hours later however, water was restored. I guess someone determined it to be an emergency, thank goodness for that. Phew!!
Bryan took a couple of pictures from the campground.

Our first time in Kentucky, Yay!!! Another sticker for our map.
We went through Florence, Kentucky. Kind of weird in view of the impending hurricane named Florence, which was also my grandmothers name!!! The Y'ALL on the tower was originally MALL, as there was to be a mall here. There were problems with planning and the mall was delayed. Instead of painting over the whole sign they made it into Y'ALL, so they could correct it back to MALL if it was built. Unfortunately, the mall was never built. Residents liked the Y'ALL sign and so instead of painting over it, it was left as it was.
We arrived at Whispering Hills RV Park in Georgetown, Kentucky.
They had moved us to another site which backed on to the lake. Unfortunately it was extremely difficult to back into, and not level. We managed to get in and leveled but it took a little while. We will be here for two nights before we move on and have a full day day of sightseeing tomorrow.
